Shortly after typing the following quite long description, our supplier told us that the city of Deauville sent a cease-and-desist declaration.

The pipe was no long allowed to carry the same name. Oh well.. so we named it ‘Skipper’ and just leave the text. You can see for yourself that the pipes are really awesome.

The glamorous norman seaside resort Deauville is one of the most exclusive places in France. The ‘Cannes of the north’ was a popular destination for many impressionist painters at the beginning of the 20th century. Here they found all the beautiful motives for their paintings they could ever need.

The marina, casinos, golf courses and horse racing are still frequented by the financially strong population, but nature lovers can enjoy the beautiful beaches and surrounding landscapes. The contrast between the glamorous high society and the untouched nature makes this city so magical.

As a tribute to the old impressionist masters, we offer the Skipper pipes with mouthpieces in three appealing colours. The top is finished in the corresponding colours.
