Our producer of the Braveheart series has been struggling with a persistent supply shortage of briar wood for almost three years now. Since then, we have received only minimal shipments of this noble root wood.
Whether it’s Dark Ale, Black Sheep, Fachen, Distillery, Good Deal, or Joy – these extremely popular classics are rarely available and, when they are, they sell out within no time.
We turned necessity into a virtue. In recent years, we have already produced several series using olive wood. Thanks to our own innovation – the heat-resistant graphite insert – we now have the opportunity to experiment with other types of wood as well.
We were particularly impressed by South American ash wood, which features a stunning grain. But rest assured: our Gaelic creativity is far from exhausted.
