The Danish owner of the Stanwell brand is Scandinavian Tobacco Group (STG). Managing the complex and highly specialized product category of pipes and accessories is too individual a business for a listed company of this size. Following lengthy negotiations, Kopp Pipes has now acquired the European distribution rights for these products.
To ensure a clear and clean transition, we agreed with STG on a complete takeover of the remaining pipe inventory held in Denmark. In total, there are just under 2,000 pipes, most of them with a 9 mm filter bore, which will reach us in summer 2026.
Among them are also a few remaining pieces from the Authentic series. The series was developed for lovers of the unadulterated and authentic. The surface of each pipe is simply waxed, retaining the natural imperfections of the briar. Small spots or inclusions are not necessarily present, but may occur.
These models are unstamped and feature an S with a crown in a matching gold tone on the mouthpiece.
Over time, the pipes will develop a natural patina, giving each one its own unique character.
