When the catalytic stone can no longer be ignited, it has done its job and it is time to replace it. With normal use (one to two 15 minute uses per day), this is approximately after 6 months. Please note that all catalytic ceramic stones are extremely soft and can be easily damaged by careless, slanted placement of the attachment.
