The company Ishimitsu Kinzoku Kogyo was founded 1933 in Tokyo. Translated, the name means Ishimitsu metal factory. From the beginning the main focus was the production of mechanical lighters with metal tanks. All parts, as the ignition, tubes, etc. are still produced in Tokyo today. The lineup includes lighters with flint stones, piezo- and phaser ignition.
1984 Corona started to sell the Old Boy lighter, and reached world renown very quickly. Made in Japan stands for very high standards, which Corona even surpasses.
